Following a very successful event last year, Bellarine Springs is once again partnering with the Geelong Centre for Excellence to offer a morning of pampering relaxation. From 10.00am - 11.45am on Wednesday 20th May, Bellarine Springs residents and guests will be treated to hand massages and manicures, with all participants invited to contribute a gold coin donation in support of animal welfare.
Last year this community fundraising event raised more than $240 for the Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS), supporting their ongoing work in animal care, community education and rehoming programs. Our goal is to surpass this fundraising target for 2026 and give even more to support animal welfare. In addition to a gold coin donation, guests can donate their clean unwanted towels and blankets for use at the animal shelter. Other donations gratefully accepted are dog and cat food (wet & dry, please consider brands that provide meat as its first ingredient), cat beds and igloos, small scratching posts, kongs, large tug toys and treats such as dental chews, schmackos etc.
The pampering treatments will be provided by students from the Geelong Centre of Excellence, who generously give their time and skills to create a relaxing experience for residents. Hand massages and manicures will be enjoyed in a warm and uplifting atmosphere while raising funds for a local animal charity. Light refreshments will also be provided courtesy of Bellarine Springs.
This Bellarine Springs community event highlights the strong sense of connection among residents and their commitment to supporting meaningful local causes.
Bellarine Springs continues to offer a full calendar of social gatherings and community events, giving residents regular opportunities to connect, give back and enjoy an active retirement village lifestyle.
